May is Masturbation Month!!

So, as the title says, May is Masturbation Month !! Despite what you may have heard growing up, masturbating is actually good for you. No, really . It can help you learn your own body better, help increase your ability to have orgasms, help you sleep better, relieve cramps and stress, etc. It can increase your self esteem and make you feel good about yourself, and in general. Seriously, it's a great thing to do. Plus, it feels good. I don't think I need to convince you anymore, but in case I do... According to a study, in the past year, 83% of men and 71% of women ages 25-29 (the most common ages of my readers) have masturbated. That's a lot. Basically, most people masturbate at least once in their lives. The percentages dip down a bit in the early teens and late 60's and 70's, but not even by that much.  There are so many ways to masturbate. Like a Virgin

I start out every blog post by mentioning how I'm going to update it more. I need to update this more. So, now that that's out of the way. Long story short, she married young and had a very hard time losing her virginity. She suffered extreme anxiety and guilt, and it caused intimacy problems in her marriage. She felt that sex was wrong and something she shouldn't be doing, even...

Sex & Religion

An old friend of mine from high school and I were talking the other day, and she brought up the topic of sex within Christianity. This got me thinking about sex and how it relates to religion. Considering the fact that roughly 33% of the world's population is Christian, it deserves a look at how the people of the religion view sex. Sex in the Bible: (I am going to be basing this purely off The New Testament). Let's start with premarital sex. Christians, especially the older ones, are always preaching against pre-marital sex. But where in the Bible does it say this? Matthew 5:28: But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. But the definition of Adultery is 'voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than his or her lawful spouse.'  So, yes, premarital sex would imply that a person is having sex with someone who is not their legal spouse but they are not necessarily c...
